How can you initiate an innovation process in product management?
Many product managers struggle when they are supposed to come up with new and innovative products or services.
They may ask themselves, "Where do I start?".
That's actually my favorite part of the work in product management and business development: sitting down in front of a white paper and just starting something completely new.
If you need a little guidance on how to tackle such a process, check out my framework for innovation for product managers.
Based on my experience, I've put together a structured approach on how to get from idea to product.
Just click the button below.
And let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'd be very happy to hear from you.
You can find below the most important products my team and I specified, developed, trained, launched, and maintained.
None of this would have been possible without the great support of a whole team of engineers and specialists. Nor without the help of exceptional project managers.
Let's have a look:
The modular high-bay platform under Zumtobel brand, one of the best high-bay luminaires in the world. Convince yourself here: CRAFT II.
Also check out the videos below. I wonder if you recognize me in one of the clips :-)
A beautiful moisture proof luminaire, for more than 245 applications in industry, logistics, manufacturing, and car parks.
Here is the product page: AMPHIBIA.
Watch below my favourite product video:
The most sustainable cleanroom luminaire on the market, helping medical staff in operating rooms and intensive care units, as well as professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, to perform their tasks under the best lighting conditions.
And here are the product videos of the two CLEAN II versions, showing details about these engineering masterpieces:
This versatile moisture proof luminaire sets a new standard for durable LED lighting. It offers a wide range of options while being very easy to install and a real help to electricians and contractors in many parts of the world.
I experienced LEDON Lamp in the very early phase, when it was one of the few start-ups in LED lighting for private and professional users.
The quality of their LED lamps is impressive.
Actually, the only LED lamps that still survive in my home after 11-12 years are from LEDON. All other lamps failed after 6-12 months. So, good job, LEDON.
Working first as product manager and then in business development, at LEDON Lamp I had the opportunity to aquire and run numerous customers campaigns with:
Energy suppliers such as ESB, Badenova, EnBW, VKW, Süwag, and many more
Non-governmental organizations and associations such as DAV, ÖAV, NABU, Naturfeunde, WWF Austria, just to name a few.
Here are some examples:
Here is a funny video of a customer campaign we made, after the administrators of the Bran Castle, known as the Dracula Castle in Transilvania, decided to switch to LEDON LED lamps:
As product manager and then as business developer I was responsible for Bosch DIY and garden tools.
Later I switched in key account management, being responsible for the business several DIY customers such as Dedeman, Obi, Praktiker, Bricostore.
Thank you for getting in touch!
I will get back to you shortly.
